Agents

Agents are custom AI personas in clearception.ai. Each agent has a tailored system prompt that shapes how it responds โ€” its tone, focus, and expertise. Browse the gallery, use a built-in agent, or create your own.

Opening Agents

Go to app.clearception.ai/agents or click Agents in the sidebar.

Using an Agent

  1. Browse the agents gallery. Each card shows the agent's icon, name, and description. Hover for more detail.
  2. Click an agent to open a new conversation using that agent's persona.
  3. Chat as normal โ€” slash commands and file filters still work alongside the agent's persona.

Agents available to you depend on your subscription. The Yoda general-purpose assistant is included on all plans. Specialty agents like Quantis, Lawgorithm, and Altheon are unlocked by their respective plans. See Settings โ†’ Subscription.

Creating a Custom Agent

  1. On the Agents page, click New Agent.
  2. Fill in the agent fields:
FieldDescription
Name Displayed on the agent card in the gallery
Persona The system prompt โ€” defines the agent's behavior, tone, expertise, and constraints
Icon & Color Visual identity for the agent card
Chat Model Override the account default model for this agent (optional)
Privacy Private โ€” only visible to you. Public โ€” visible to all users on the instance (admins only on cloud).
  1. Click Save. The agent appears in your gallery immediately and is ready to use.
  2. To edit, double-click the agent card at any time.

Specialty Apps vs. Custom Agents

Specialty Apps (Quantis, DeepQuery, Lawgorithm, etc.) are purpose-built tools with their own interfaces and integrations โ€” they are distinct from the custom agents you create here. Custom agents are conversational personas powered by a system prompt; Apps add structured workflows, live data, and dedicated UIs on top of the AI layer.
