Projects
Projects let you group related conversations together and collaborate with teammates. Instead of a flat list of chats, organize your work by topic, client, initiative, or any structure that makes sense to you.
Opening Projects
Go to app.clearception.ai/projects or click Projects in the sidebar.
Creating a Project
- Click New Project on the Projects page.
- Fill in the project details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A short, descriptive title for the project |
| Description | Optional โ summarize the project's purpose or scope |
| Visibility | Private (only you and invited members) or Public (visible to anyone with the link) |
- Click Create. The project appears in your project list.
Adding Conversations to a Project
When starting a new conversation from Chat, use the project selector in the chat header to assign it to an existing project. You can also move existing conversations into a project from the History page.
Collaboration & Member Roles
Invite teammates to a project and assign each a role:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control โ edit project settings, manage members, delete the project |
| Editor | Add and edit conversations within the project; cannot change project settings or manage members |
| Viewer | Read-only access to all conversations in the project |
To invite a member, open the project, click Members, enter their email address, select a role, and click Invite.
Project Overview
Each project card on the Projects page shows:
- Conversation count โ total number of chats in the project
- Member count โ how many collaborators have access
- Owner โ the email of the project creator
- Last updated โ when any member last added or edited a conversation
Tips
- Use Projects to separate work streams โ for example, one project per client, one per internal initiative.
- Set a project to Public to share a read-only view with stakeholders who do not have a clearception.ai account.
- Members only see conversations in the project โ their private conversations elsewhere remain private.
