Getting Started with clearception.ai
clearception.ai is your personal AI research assistant. It helps you understand faster, create smarter, and stay on top of what matters — using your own notes, documents, and the public web.
1. Access the App
Open app.clearception.ai in any modern web browser. No install is required for the web app.
Self-hosting: If your organization runs a private clearception.ai instance, replace the URL above with your server's address. See the setup guide for instructions.
2. Sign In
Click Login on the landing page. clearception.ai supports:
- Email + password
- Google / OAuth (if configured by your admin)
Once signed in you land on the Chat page — the main interface.
3. Upload Your First Document
clearception.ai becomes more useful the more context it has about you.
- Open the Search page.
- Click Add Documents.
- Drag and drop PDFs, Markdown, plain text, or Word files.
- Wait a moment while clearception.ai indexes them — now you can chat about their contents.

4. Start a Conversation
Go to Chat and type any question. clearception.ai will:
- Search your uploaded documents for relevant context.
- Optionally pull in live web information.
- Return a cited, conversational answer.
Try asking: "Summarize the key points from my uploaded report."
